SOUL Lifestyle | Blogger's Soiree | Runway Show. {Day 21: 365}

Still on a frenzy from yesterday's 1st ever Bloggers Soiree hosted by our retail brand SOUL Lifestyle & put together by SOUL's new Social Media baby Farrah G.

For this awaited soiree, I channeled the pinkmother in me and found total bliss from personally tying dotted ribbons on the media kits to creating those beautiful placecards & adding posh with my no-fail black velvet runner♥

{i've always found excitement in dressing up tables & having the reason to make use of all my ribbons & beautiful scrapbook papers..I guess if I wouldnt be in fashion retail, I would be somewhere else assisting Martha Stewart!}
♥♥♥

At a little past 1pm the fashionable side of me started to be stunned as YourLivingMannequin, kweshiedoodlesconfessionsofaglitterati and CDO's thehandmadeturban -- Fashion Bloggers from the South began strutting in their lustful heels.

Sans heels however, Wilson and Pat -- the duo behind SyleZodiac were uber cute in their
stylish pairs of oxfords & booties!

I swear it was simply inspiring for a 30ish like me to be surrounded with all these young, passionate, fashionably dressed bloggers!

Who wouldn't be...
gracing the afternoon,
it was impossible NOT to be infected with their passion.
Theirs is the kind of passion that draws, one that goes deeper
 than the mere surfaces of fashion & blogging,
the real inspiration to -- as these two say it -- simply go & chase your dreams♥

The chats plus the sweets buffet at Chocolatier seemed never-ending but off we had to go to the sweetest highlight of the afternoon --
the Bloggers Styling Challenge and Meet & Greet at Soul Abreeza!

 heels vs flats.
me with the bloggers + farrah g on our way up to SOUL...{easy to spot the fashion bloggers vs us the non bloggers eh?}
 It was pure delight to see their readers -- especially Cheyser's & our dear SOUL shoppers flock to the shop -- all fashionably dressed to personally chat & have a photo with their favorite bloggers!

{winner of the Styling Challenge: Steph Chu  & Kyrie of kyriekouture }

To sum it up, it was one awesome afternoon...

wrapped up & made even more fabulous with frontrow seats to the Runway Show:

for a preview of SOUL Lifestyle's 2012 Collection
{styled by Davao's sought-after designer Popoy Barba}

I just loved how Popoy showcased the deep blues & blacks + feather & leather necklaces!

And guess what I loved most of all? Conquering my fear of walking the runway IN HEELS to grace the curtain call for SOUL's Collection!!!

Applause please, as I managed to reach the end of the runway despite wobbly knees
and ultra-deafening heartbeat, haha. I'm sure dear hubby Jun was just as nervous as I was!!!

Hmmm, the things I do at 33. After all, LIVE YOUNG, as Aidx says.♥

and with this long post, I'm closing by grabbing the chance to say
thank you to the one person who chooses to
LIVE YOUNG with me.
Mr.Tupas, thank you for leading our path.
Business-wise. Family-wise. Marriage-wise.
I'll forever walk hand in hand with you♥

and to the Man Up Above, thank you thank you thank you
for forever surrounding me with so much inspiring people in this life.
You know who you are...and you know I ♥ you.

    I'm glad to be an inspiration. It may be hard balancing the act of being a mother, wife,entrep and my Martha aspirations but yes, it can be done. the artisan in you will understand that when your time comes, april!
